Stair 1 : Contrast : From underground to ground level. The stairs are held in a decagon shaped structure. Hence, from the exterior, the structure comprises straight lines. However, the staircase takes a curved structure, contrasting with the straight lines.

Stair 2 : Nature: The staircase from Ground level to level 1 (BernabeiFreeman) takes up a natural form of against each other. The curve of the structure resembles the curve of the leaves. The symmetry of the stairs further emphasises the role of nature within architecture, metaphorically presenting the leaves over each other.
